SANE Position Opening
The Sexual Assault Center of NWGA is currently seeking interested individuals for a position as a contracted Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner, to perform forensic exams for sexual assault victims in the Rome and Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia areas. Applicants must be a licensed Georgia RN, maintain current personal professional liability insurance, be willing to complete 40 hours of clinical training, and be able to attend a SANE training at the North Georgia Technical College in Blairsville, GA, October 5-9. SAC NWGA will cover the cost of the training, and will provide opportunities to complete mandatory clinical hours. Licensed SANEs are compensated per the SAC NWGA contract rate, for each completed forensic exam. Job Requirements
Education, training, experience:
Applicants must be a licensed GA RN, and have been licensed for 2 years, maintain current personal professional liability insurance, be willing to complete 40 hours of clinical training, and be able to attend a SANE training at the North Georgia Technical College in Blairsville, GA, October 5-9.
